It has happened they have found a new name to replace defeat Floyd. a new flavor of the day. a guy coming off a good win suddenly transcends reality and becomes everything it takes to be the greatest. too bad he already got destroyed in 5 rounds and quit on his stool. he is good and i thought he wouldve beat cotto but i didnt think he would take PW. but in all reality it was obvious that he shouldve but doubts were there because he got steamrolled last time out. Simply he would lose to Floyd based on ability. Floyds are superior in all angles of the game. he doesnt have the foot or hand speed or the skill set to beat floyd. lets be real and wake up from imagination land.

    Of course I'm not cool and relaxed:nono I'm mother****ing :D
    This was a nice win.

I'm used to responding to outnumbered scenarios and more often than not? I end up right:good So take whatever, HOWEVER. I speak from the heart, an educated opinion.

I'm the type that has backed up and stood his ground on my position on the Spadafora issue. Thats just one PART, Floyd's cherry picking extends BEYOND.

IF IT's SO EASY!!! MAKE THE ****ING FIGHT:yep

    :rofl

    lets C the TRUTH....SHALL WE??:huh

You know damn well floyd's susceptibility and you've expressed it before/ its fine to believe PBf wins this match up, but CERTAINLY it's not gonna be one sided:nono

C Money you know about PBF when it comes to choosing fights, he's not going to fight Quintana unless the money is right. Thats why he's fighting ODLH again, because the money is right. PBF doesn't want to risk fighting natural welterweights, especially if it doesn't command the money he wants. After PBF's match with ODLH their is a good chance (great chance I mean) that PBF might not be competitive again. In reality he really has nothing more to prove.

Uh-uh:nono beating the best opposition and cleaning out 147 IS VERY SIGNIFICANT for his legacy. Dont tell me that **** dont count, Floyd talks it, so it must count being the GOAT and all:-(
THERE IS MUCH TO PROVE and it start's with Cotto:yep

$$$ is a given floyd's the Champ so we wann see the Champ. What he must do is fight the best and PROVE his mettle:deal If Quintana beats another challenger while thats happening? He's the next in line based on resume and action.:good

Quintana is a counter puncher and not a busy fighter. If he was a busy guy you would have a point. Floyd would see those shots coming and counter him. And dig his body when he is in Quintana mode where he just moves around the ring avoiding. Quintana does not like to fight. He would get owned by mayweather.

Quintana also leans and bends forward with his head. His defense is too leaky though he has good movement.

Quintana is better then Spadafora. But Quintana is not beating Floyd. I cant see it. He is too open and he would not land on Floyd like he did the defenseless Williams and Julio. These are not the same caliber of fighter. Come on.

I have said that WHILE Floyd is 'Fighting" Cotto? If quintana wins his next fight and is still Champ he becomes the opponent. Spadafora and Quinatana were both excellent technical southpaws who had some toughness and size to match Floyd. CQ is bigger and has still under rated skill. He is a difficult style match and has a very good shot AT BEATING FLOYD!!

All that said? Cotto is first and has the best resume at 47:good

All this talk about the Pittsburgh kid amazes me. There are PLENTY of fighters in history that did not "Unify" the titles they held. Paul Spadafora is one of them. I don't remember him facing any top champions while at lightweight.

Boxing has become too much of a business. You can't blame Floyd for that. Cotto would fight Floyd in a heart beat, but Bob "I tell the truth today, lie tomorrow" doesn't want that fight and it doesn't take a fool to see that. This is the same guy that spouted about how great Floyd was, and then when Floyd left, he suddenly rips him.

The same guy who said "Hatton-PBF" was a "mismatch" all the while trying to promote Cotto against one of the Contender rejects. Quality there, I tell ya.

I hope the Cotto-Mayweather fight happens this year, or next year at the absolute latest, as Mayweather will be 31 this month. We shall see.

But then again, it doesn't really matter. Because even if Floyd were to beat Cotto tomorrow he'd be "ducking" Quintana. And if he beat Quintana, he'd be "ducking" Andre Berto, and so on.

The sad thing is, when PBF hangs em' up you cats are gonna miss the mofo. I wonder if ya'll will even have anything to fill the boards up with anymore. =-)
