Quitting in boxing....

    I feel it's different when you're a professional earning hundreds of thousands and even millions of dollars.

    if you're getting beat up, quit.
    If i was in victors position vs maidana few more rounds if i kept taking damage i would quit
    Margarito vs pac- around round 8-9 i would have quit.
    Quit like vitali - no, if i was in danny williams position i would have quit after the dislocation and round 6 against vitali
    Everyone voting for they rather die or quit before death is just bullshitting.

    You shouldn't reach a point where you think to yourself "I need to quit im getting beat up badly"

    Your corner will take the decision
    or the ref will make the decision
    or the doctor

    There are 2 people (Corner with a towle & the ref) who can direcly stop the fight if they feel you are taking to many blows

    and then during stoppages the doctor can make the decision

    There will never be a point where you should fear you might die in the ring in modern boxing

    Blood clots are the biggest hidden killer


    AKA: Fight intill you can no longer continue or the fight is stopped
