Rahman had his time in the spotlight, now he's making a living. Everyone's got to. Plus, who knows, with the state of the HW division he could get another big championship payday soon, crazy as that is.

I think it'd take a few decent wins for Rahman to regain any marketablity against a titleholder. He's done been spent, too many times already.

But with the wacky rankings and the orgs putting undeserving fighters in mandatory positions, you never know.

There are so few big names around these days that he won't need that much to get another decent money fight. I'd be surprised if he gets another title shot, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if a promoter is willing to pay him a decent sum to try and build up a prospect like Helenius or Pulev. Adamek or Arreola might also make sense.

Quality of the opponent aside, you might appreciate this statistical blip. I have down all the major heavyweight champions (Linear and/or WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO) and their amount of knockout wins. There's nearly fifty HW champs with 30+ knockout victories but just over 20 with 40+ and Rahman just became 22 with this last one. 50+ kayo victory champs drops to only 7, 60+ down to 3 and 70+ down to 1. This counts champs that have moved up in weight too, though. Anyway, kind of interesting.

Most likely. I think the only guy that wants to fight him is...who are we down to now? Gabe Brown? Will Gabe Brown graciously accept a title shot?
