Hagler would handle it well, and would stop Turpin by the 10th round.

Since Hagler is arguably history's top MW (or among the top 5), and very effective at getting his opponent out, I think he will take this one late, through a combination of skills and constant pressure.

Hagler would win. Randy was tough enough, and cute enough to take Marvin the distance though.

i think cobra is just about right a 10th round stoppage turpin would get backed up to the ropes and he was a fighter that did not fight well if he could not fight his own fight

First off, Robinson was not in shape for that 1st fight. He was partying and chasing girls over there. As for Hagler, in this maulrats opinion, is the Baddest of All time, and would have DESTRUCT and DESTROY planned, and neither previously mentioned fighters would have faired well, especially post Hagler - Antuofermo I. Robinson was a big welterweight anyway. Hagler too strong!

turpin actually said that robinson didn't like being backed up either.turpins best chance would be to cut hagler.he wasn't averse to throwing his head about.

There's no way I'd elect to clash craniums with Marvelous Marble-head himself. :bart But that's just me. I do not want to die.

    i wouldn't either.
hagler is my no.1 middle and turpin is my hero but i think randy would be out of his depth in that fight.

Hagler is a top-5 160 pounder; Turpin is not..... Turpin was tuff and game, but Hagler has been there and seen it all before..... Hagler stops Turpin within 12 rds...... Peace....

I haven't changed my mind on the outcome of this fight and still have the marvellous one at the top of the 160lb charts.
