How would rate Robert Allen a man who had a trilogy with Bernard Hopkins. Allen quietly retired from boxing in 2007. I believe now he's a fitness trainer in the Atlanta area.

Who in their right mind would call Robert Allen great?

Well people call Tyson Fury great and people shockingly call Marciano the most overrated fighter ever great. Robert Allen is just as great as they are.

Stupid comparison. I don't even have to say why and I'm not a Tyson Fury fan. Don't talk to me.

I didn't ask you what or who you were a fan of. I told you he wasn't great and his fans still think he is great. Now you don't have to worry about me "talking " to you because I am blocking you.

Just a decent contender. I don't know why he got 3 title shots against Hopkins. The third one was a PPV none the less.

Allen was lucky to even be a top 20 fighter. Extremely average. Never beat a real contender. There was absolutely no justification for him getting one (much less 3) title shot(s). He is the perfect example of why Bernard's middleweight reign gets criticized by many.
