Down six times in his career and five of they knockdowns were at the hands of the best pound for pound fighters in the universe....

Took the best that Tzsyu could offer for 11 rounds.

Good chin. Very good but not impregnable by any means.

His chin is good but not great. His biggest problem has ALWAYS been his defense which is just ****ing terrible.

He is just very susceptible to getting hit by shots he can't see.

Best chin England has to offer.

And you know that isn't saying much.

Getting rocked and put on ***** street by Collazo and Lazcano certifies his chin is at best below average.

I think it got worse as he aged and the damage accumulated plus his poor diet in between fights didnt help. He did take a lot of shots against Kostya, it was better when he was younger.

But the guy had no head movement, he relied on getting inside fast and doing his stupid wrestling so he normally didnt have to take big shots especially from the lower class fighters. But if you could catch him coming in the guy had no defense for that and by the end of his career his chin was worse

I think the Mayweather fight ruined him, before they fought Hatton had a very good chin but after that fight Malignaggi seemed to hurt him.
