    How would you rate Wlad as a fighter? He defended his title for almost a decade, and beat the top fighters in the division.

    Would have been nothing more than a gatekeeper in the HW division at any time in the 20th century.

    He'd beat Dempsey, Louis, or Marciano. He'd be too big and strong for them.

    Yet fighters like Hide, Moorer, Berbick, Bone Crusher Smith, Bruno, Morrison, Rahman, Maskaev, etc where champions yet Wlad would just be a gatekeeper?

    I shudder at the thought of a Wlad right hand landing on Hide or Moorer's chin.

    Half of those guys would easily beat Wlad . Mils Lane was around back then and Wlad would have about 10 loses if his fights were ref'd by Miles Lane.

    Wlad fought in an era that was one of the worst in boxing of all time , not just exclusive to Heavy Weight. All those bums and he still couldn't win without bending the rules.
