This ref was ****ing awful. Gave Broner like 6 warnings yet immediately took a point off Maidana. I would blame it on incompetence but the way that the showtime crew was licking Broner's ass makes me think he was bought off.
The whole promotion was a ploy to get Broner a PPV fight. Ring size, ref, judges can only steal so much, they wanted to give Broner a W but they would jeopardize the legitimacy of showtime boxing.
