Yeah he was overmatched, but he's got some skills.

Bottom line, he's no Gary Lockett.

I hope he does well in the future.

I thought he looked ok too considering this was supposed to be a total mismatch, at least he didn't get beat up too bad like gomez did.

He's a former British champion, who holds basically a shutout win over the current European champion and has defeated the Commonwealth champion at the weight above(Bradley Pryce, WBC #32), former World title challenger Mehrud Takaloo(who gave a good account of himself v Daniel Santos) and also Ross Minter(who was clearly beating Freddy Curiel before getting chinned.

He's a good technical fighter but just doesn't have the power or chin at World level. Had he been able to take Cotto's punches better he would of engaged more and he wouldn't have had that much trouble landing. But he couldn't take those punches........

Far far from a bum though, unless 99.5% of fighters are bums.

He's a decent technical fighter with some room for improvement but still limited. I can see why Cotto didn't want to take this fight.

Still think Jennings will be back though on at least a C level.

He's a solid fighter, but not yet ready (ever?) to be a champion

I wish you would post more man.

Everything you said earlier about Jennings was right on the money.

Kid did okay. There isn't much you can do when you are so outgunned physically and skill wise. It means he is worried about even comitting full power to a punch for what is coming back. Hence the fending off type jab he employed.

I think he showed some okay footwork and a speedy jab that would serve him well at a lower level.

If this cat wasn't British.. there'd be no thread here.

He got blown out. He's a regional fighter at best.. time to go back to fighting for the commonwealth.

    Decent dancer.
He looked small compared to Cotto. Maybe he should fight in the lower weights.
