I'd be very surprised if Cotto was only 150 for the fight. Look at the pictures at the weigh in and then the ones at the fight. He must ave been nearer 160 than 150.

Jennings did ok.... he's a domestic british fighter who had no business fighting at that level. But he came out of that fight with a lot of credit and respect. Gotta respect a guy who can come through tragedy after tragedy and then fight for the welterweight world title against Miguel Cotto.

He did the best he could he was just in against a far superior fighter. He showed a big heart getting up as many times as he did.A lot of fighters would not have come out for the last round.Look at Rubio for one.I had hoped Micheal would be able to push Cotto a bit more but he was just too much for him.Jennings will be back and there are some decent domestic fights there for him,Kell Brook,Kev Anderson and a Mutley rematch are all decent fights for him.

I felt bad for Jennings even before the fight. The booing all but drowned out the British anthem, and he was very much entering the lions den.
Mad respect though for his choice of entrance music though:good
He definately didn't disgrace himself in the ring either, I hope he makes it on the British and European scene.

Jennings showed his inexperience at this level being hit too often with lefts and jabs.If he gets his defense tightened he could still compete at this level. He showed a very good left /right hand.I thought the ref maybe a little quick to stop it but a great experience fight for him.Cotto though is set to dominate the division.

I hope Jennings can learn from this Cotto loss and it will help him grow as a fighter. He will never be LaMotta but I hope he can get into the top 10 and possibly win a belt.

"Anarchy in the UK" - The Sex Pistols

Ye that's exactly what I thought. 10,000 US fans thinking payback now they finally have a British fighter over in their country with no travelling fan base. Of course they'd of been too chicken **** to do that if there was any serious British contingent there like at Hatton's fights.
