I wish Vitali well in politics. :good It's far more psychologically and emotionally brutal. You think he gets hate from jealous fans on boxing websites it's nothing compared to the hatred spewed from politics. Fans that supported you as a boxer will now turn on you like hungry wolves.

I'm sure Vitali can handle it :good :yep

The liar who supported the so called "Syrian rebellion" (who was just a coallition of jihadist from Tchetchenia to North Africa) to get rid of a relatively stable Assad, (portrayed by the White House as a gas using mass murderer just months ago) pretends he cares about the people and their countries.

Vitali would make an ideal Ukrainian leader.

I ain't sure...Vilali makes a great posterboy and probably would be a popular leader, but the politics of this situation are somewhat more complex than you'll generally see reported. Ukraine is caught between two major economic interests and only time will tell which is best for the Ukrainian people.

Currently Ukraine is a major trading partner with Russia (although the weaker partner) - a trading alignment with the EU could relegate them to the status of Greece or Spain - basically a supplier of raw materials and a market for European goods with very little economic influence of their own.

As I understand it, the major reason for the current dispute in Ukraine is that the trading agreement with Europe would come at the cost of the beneficial agreements already in place with Russia (cos Russia can't risk being flooded with untaxed EU manufactured goods) - this is genuinely a major risk for the country as Ukraine is massively dependent on Russian petrochemicals and energy supplies.

However the Ukrainian market - even more so if the Russian market can be penetrated simultaneously - would be a huge prize for the struggling economies of the EU - Hence the strong support (and possible bankrolling) for the pro-EU demonstators from the EU and in the Western media.
