Huge height advantage to Vides...MASSIVE skill advantages to Reveco...and Vides down late in the round...and is...up at "Ocho"...bell saves Vides from a follow up

Raveco's the goods, but man it would be nice to see him in against someone of Yaegashi-Ioka-Estrada-Chocolacito quality. Based on this performance (against a limited opponent, I'll grant) he'd hold his own against all of 'em.

Yeah, shame his most notable recent wins have beemn ove rNunez and Kuroda. Kuroda was battered by a a then still not pro Inoue and Nunez was stopped in 2 last time out by Scott Alexander

I don't think either of those developments reflects too poorly on Reveco.

Naoya Inoue vs. Masayuki Kuroda was 'just' sparring, not competition - and despite not yet being a pro Inoue was already being considered a lock for the stardom fast-track back then in 2012.

As for El Matematico, I really think Cotón ruined him. Sure, the Mthalane war almost certainly played into his accelerated deterioration but the Núñez that Arias blasted out was a shell of the version that squared off with Reveco, faded by a larger margin than Núñez had between Mthalane and Reveco.
