i have read a few times on here about how great ricardo lopez is.......
i follow boxing very closely and i am surprised there is one great fighter who i know very little about - maybe bc he competed in lower weight classes. i want to make it my business to do research on his career, can anyone suggest which fights i should watch that capture his greatness?

Ricardo Lopez IS Boxing.. If you want to box or wanna show somebody how to box, let them watch tapes of Lopez cuz that's txtbook Boxing at its finest...

I dont want to name specific fights but if u really wanna get deep into FInito, just watch his career set.. everything.... cuz youll see something amazing in almost all of his fights.

God dam even after all these years, I get goosebumps and sometimes even teary eyed when watching him fight cuz he's just so ****in graceful inside that ring, a true poetry in motion...

Every move he made, every step he took and every punch thrown by him were carefully calculated before executing..

Finito is my Boxing hero.. That's why I love Marquez so much, cuz he reminds me of Finito..

Well, the 2 fights that really pushed him to the limit is his two brawls with Rosendo Alvarez.

    Everything else is a masterclass.

He avoided Carbajal and Chiquita so his greatest fights never really happened

His rematch with Rosendo Alvarez is his most exciting fight.

Yeah, and considering that Alvarez was like 4 lbs over weight in the rematch. At this weights that is significant.

Finito fought pretty good on the inside at times in that fight...Which is something he wasn't really known for.
