He already is, Joey Dawejko. After that he should continue to go up at least a half-tier with each successive fight. Don't want to plateau and languish like a Dychko.

I think Torrez is packing glass. Ithauma would lay him out cold. Most likely his mandible gets exposed long before that happens though.

Absolutely, that's certainly an indicator. If you're getting hurt like that in the ams, it's reasonable to speculate that you might not be able to take a solid shot in the pros.

But let's be clear, the jury's still out. There are certainly guys who showed chin vulnerability early who turned out to have extremely sturdy mandibles.

Ali is probably the best example of this. Then there's guys like Wilder who hit the deck against tomato cans early, whose mandibles then got exposed the first time they fought a top fighter.

... so it's not his size that's the problem.

I think Torrez is 6’3” in the same way The Undertaker was 6’10”

It actually is, Newbie. You evidently don't know much about boxing.

When Usyk retires, there will be no great heavyweights. But there will be some GOOD ones: Torrez, Kabayel, Jalalov, Parker, Joshua and a few others.

A good big man usually beats a good smaller man. Jalalov isn't better than Torrez but he is bigger. There are weight divisions for a reason.

Listed at 6'2''. Not sure if he is. Most heavyweight heights are inflated.

You know, I am not the expert on these guys that you gents are, but I am not sure what it is about this fight that is supposed to turn me off of Torrez. Yeah he got a standing count against a much bigger, and very talented fighter, but he hung in there, got through, and he made Jalalov pay a few times. It was Jalalov who was hanging on like Johnny Ruiz in the third.

If anything, I see an undersized guy with some talent and big stones.

I'll be interested to see where he goes.

Curious...how is it clear? Don't get me wrong, I want Itauma to succeed, but how is it clear when he hasn't beaten anyone?
