Richard Towers - Heavy Weight

At the start of Saturday Fight Night Johnny Nelson & Glen McClory were going through a list of prospects to look out for.

Nelson mentioned Towers, but he has not been out for a while.

good fighter big richard, johny likes to talk up the locals, he hasen't boxed for a while, towers that is, any body know why?

 

I like him. Not sure why he hasn't been out recently... it's not like he's got time on his hands!

 

i think he's unbeaten in about 8 fights, so could be near to a decent payday. He's athletic for a big heavy, looks like he could take some beating, from whats been seen so far.:good

 

Age isn't on his side though.

I found it strange that BN didn't rank him in their end of year issue where they rank every fighter in Britain

Thought it was because he hadn't fought in a while, although BoxRec had him in a fight within the cut off dates for inclusion in the list
