Yeah, I'd be pretty pissed if I had a bet on Rose on points. Another British stoppage.

 

Nice little earner he's must have made with eddie paying him off.

 

Im not sure how much he has cost me yet. Still need to see how the chisora and trout fights turn out. I had fury 8-12 aswell so not been a great day. Need Chisora for £50, so should still be up for the day.

Literally the worst stoppage I've ever seen. Richie Davies should be ashamed of himself the fat ****. Did you see that smirk he gave to Rose's corner at the end of the 11th too?

 

There's nothing more infuriating than a **** ref stepping in when a fighter takes a couple of decent shots. Yeah, Alcine got hit once or twice, but so what? It's a ****ing fight! He was looking tired and maybe Rose would have stopped him fairly, I don't know, but that's besides the point. Given what had happened, there is no justification for stopping it. Rose landed a few decent punches and that's it, it's not like Alcine was hurt or had been taking far too many.

Some of these stoppages are a joke...they really are disgustingly bad at times. You feel for the fighters who have worked hard for months, like Enzo against McKenzie, only to be robbed by inept referees. They lose the fight, they have a loss on their record, they lose ranking places and they lose money in the future, all because a referee is **** at his job. Think about how different Crolla's career may be if he'd have ended up beating Crolla fairly, as I think he would have without the bad stoppage. As a fan, these are just ****ing annoying, but for the fighters, they must be so pissed off.

I was right by Alcines corner and a few of his fans. They were going off their heads at the decision. I seen Eddie Hearn look at the score cards and Rose was behind by a few points it seemed.

Question: if Brian Rose had the same last round wobble would Davies have stopped it?
