These guys look like they have a nice rapport going. But I'm watching the mittwork and it's still painfully obvious: Ricky has 10 years of bad habits to unlearn, and it's not happening in one training camp. Thoughts?

Well this would be 2 training camps...

I thought his padwork looked good but I don't expect him to be mayweather jnr by next week

I do expect him to slip and slide more punches though and use his jab more

once he sees he cant match Pac´s speed he will turn to his usual John Ruiz tactics.

he does not have to match pacs speed to beat him, pac can and will be hit by hatton.i think hatton will start to catch him late in the fight.

it would be in Hatton's best interests to hold and maul and fight dirty though. if he can get away with it it's his best chance to wear manny down being physically bigger and stronger, those cluthces will take a lot outa manny.

Thanks man... someone with a bit of sense. I just think he'll catch him from round 1.

Hatton's mitwork has always left a bit to be desired on the defensive side...he just doesn't put his hands or body back into position after each punch.

That being said, I don't think Pacquiao punches hard enough to make him pay too much.

ricky still doesnt move his head with the pads and has that mouth gaping open too

however the pacman seems to be on a differnt planet according to most on this site in

terms of EVERYTHING, however its not too long ago people said david diaz was too big

and rough for manny. the oscar fight cannot be take too seriously as clearly he was

done big time. A key factor is the fact that manny can be hit too. he isnt a defensive

master by any stretch of the imagination so he IS going to be hit by hatton. ricky

clearly will be stung and hit combos by manny but he will punch to the chest and head

with the jab and short hooks to the body. so at the end of the day if mannys speed

doesnt 'ruin' the fight so to speak, it could come down to a war of attrition with the

bigger rougher hatton winning a controversial SD.thats my thoughts

For all the pac fans here, this will not be a floyd hatton re run. Your man will get hurt and may even get sparked out.

If he doesnt take Pac out early, later down the line hell abandon his gameplan and just fight rough like he had before
