    What has Burns got to prove by fighting Mitchell because when he beat him all he would get would be criticized for not fighting a top lightweight

    Last out against a 6-9 fighter :think

    In retrospect the Johanneson fight was probably more significant for Mitchell than the Prescott win.....certainly a better fight.

    He beats crap fighters and loses to good ones.... that's a journeyman in a nutshell.

    That was after a KO loss, he took an easy fight - thats what happens

    I suggest you both do your homework, he beat April who everyone is now raving about, i thought he beat mccloskey and also pushed vasquez and alvarado (i thought he was winning at the time of stoppage) and despite losing clearly they both are top fighters, and ofcourse khan but i pressumed you hadn't forgotten that
