1, tszyu.....hatton was the underdog but fought a great tactical fight by not giving the aussie.russian any space to land his big shots

2, castillio...totally destroyed the mexican with 1 body shot , before the fight many thought this fight was a 50-50

3, collazo...moved up in weight , away from home vs a young fast and solid champion , showed heart by surviving big last round from the champions and was rightly announce the winner

Kostya T is the only one boxing historians will consider anything other than average.

Also, after watching his previous performance against an that Canadian/Cameroonian whose name I forget, how many people seriously thought Castillo was 50/50?

    Ngoudjou or summit like

People put that down to a tough nights work for Castillo that's all

He was still in the p4p rankings though in hindsight he'd obviously slipped

Still, don't see that it makes the body shot that stopped him any less of a punch, still a good win

All the WBU ones. Some great scalps amongst that lot. Vince Phillips probably tops it. He was so old he was spitting dust in the ring.

Hang on, you're putting down Collazo not only as a win but one of his 'best' wins? He was staggering around all over the place at the end and it was a questionable outcome. Nothing best about that. Might be okay if Collazo was some type of great fighter but he wasn't.

That aside there ain't a lot of choice really. Tszyu clear stand out, shot Castillo probably ranks highly then take your pick from Urango and that lot.

And Collazo went on to do **** all afterwards...

Hatton's career was one big success in smoke and mirrors.

A wins and win. Losing the latter rounds doesn't mean you get early ones you won taken away......we should revisit this fight, its not that hard to score.

I watched it live, around the ex's Dad's house the day afterwards and during that week as well...

Is he suggesting that I re-re-re-re watch it?

It depends whether you revisited it in the thread where we all rewatched it and scored it, if you did you'd have to add on another re to that. Most people scored it to Hatton in the Brit forum which wasn't a huge surprise compared to the 66% of people that scored it to Collazo that had no nationalistic affiliation. Still, it would be an interesting one to do again if someone can be arsed making a thread.
