I hope everyone enjoys the fight tomorrow which could go down as a classic between two top fighters c'mon the Rickster!:good
Does Crawford know the fight will be tomorrow? Was this part of the gameplan to pretend the fight was March 1st but really have it February 28th?
Good luck for Saturday Billy hopefully he can pull It off, What height are both guys? They looked the same height on today's head to head so either Ricky isn't 5 ft 10 or Terence is taller than 5 ft 8.
Terance was wearing flip flops that were quite high so I'd say Ricky is maybe an inch taller but Ricky looks stronger imo
No worries. I still stick with my prediction of Crawford winning a UD around 117-111 or even stopping Ricky any round after the 6th. If your gameplan for Ricky brings him victory then i'll move you up a place or two on my official Top 10 Boxing trainers list, unfortunately if you lose i'll have to move you out of it. Top 10 Trainers in World Boxing 1. Freddie Roach 2. Virgil Hunter 3. Robert Garcia 4. Nacho Beristein 5. Pedro Diaz 6. Floyd Mayweather sr 7. Abel Sanchez 8. Joel Diaz 9. Naseem Richardson 10. Billy Nelson Btw any thoughts on Salido-Lomachenko? That's probably the fight on saturday i'm most looking forward to as a fan of World boxing, not just British. Even though Lomo is a double gold medalist, it's still very very ballsy to take on a good veteran boxer like Salido in his 2nd Pro fight. I can see Lomo dominating the first 6 rds but after that if Salido is still standing then it could well be a dangerous last 6 rds for Lomo especially as he's never been past 4 rds as Pro or amateur.
Good luck ricky, rooting for him all the way. Personally think Crawford will win a wide decision but would love to be proved wrong.
Good luck Billy/Ricky. Wish you both all the best. Couple of things. Crawford looks very skilled and is a definite threat. However, Ricky as per the usual is completely underestimated by some. If Ricky finds a balance between offence/defense a la Mitchell fight I think he can pull this off. But if he reaches & forces things like against Gonzales or gets over eager to impress like against Beltran, he will probably lose. Jab & simplicity, one two's & straight right hand could be important. I don't see Crawford (from what I've seen) coming forward slipping jabs & timing counters, he rather waits for mistakes. If Ricky makes them, he will be countered. If he boxes to a good composed game plan like against Mitchell, I'm backing him to win. I thought Prescott looked slow & ponderous against Crawford & at 140 in general, I'm not sure how much better Crawford's win was than Mitchell's. Crawford still took some silly shots, very rarely raised the tempo. We'll see I suppose but I think it's 55-45 Crawford just now. Really want Ricky to pull this off though, he is capable of it. I think folk forget just how controlled he was against Mitchell, his jab, right hand & ability just to take that wee step out of reach left Mitchell without anything to counter. Can't wait! Good luck Ricky!!!!!
Utterly disrespectful spelling his name wrong. Pathetic. Hope you've had a closer attention to detail when watching him in action.
The very best of luck to you and ricky. No pressure but this ur chance to redeem yourself after ur s*** team let me down on saturday
