Fcuk me Groves got done over in this part of the contract.. talk about a phone booth to suit Mr Froch - this will be over in under 4 rounds

Could be another case of the Red Headed One , Facking himself up ,,, he's , neotiated himself out of millions , so he probably just forgot about that one .

This is why you should have yourself a decent manager .

Actually feel froch would benefit from a bigger ring. Was expecting him to come in and keep Groves at range for at least the first 4/5. His jab can be very hard to get round

Groves hits harder so a smaller ring suits him.

Froch would need to keep it long, he can't do that now.

I see what you mean - but I kind of envisioned that Groves' plan might be to see the ring more especially if it gets to the later rounds... oh well it will be exciting whilst it lasts

Keeping it long doesnt really work against a guy like Groves. Froch had his success when Groves stopped moving and started exchanging with him. The small ring will favour Froch. Groves has his success because he was able to use the ring and box. He will have to exchange more in this ring.

The smaller ring only benefits the spectators. As soon as someone get's ****ed up, if they try backing off they are going to be in the ropes and getting nailed. Here's to hoping someone gets KTFO.

I'm pretty sure Groves was not thinking tear up, may be what he wanted Froch to think but he knows he needs to leave something in the tank later in the fight. I think he would have paced himself the first 6 rounds and try and come on later.
