That Boxing v MMA part was pretty pointless. About 15 minutes of 5 boxing people all saying "yeah boxing is better isn't it? But the UFC do this better? Yeah but boxing is just better." I don't think they put up one good point, apart from "it just is", as to why boxing would have a better future than MMA. Ringside the last few weeks has looked empty because Sky's live schedule isn't up to much in the next few weeks. It's gonna be awkward next month when we're a few days away from Groves/Stieglitz, Floyd/Cotto, Huck/Afolabi etc and they're bigging up McCloskey v TBA and an all Irish prizefighter instead.. WAR BoxNation.
I thought Monroe and Quigg were a bit disrespectful to McGuigan yesterday. Munroe will be a great test for Quigg , Im thinkig Quigg points win. If Munroe knocks down Quigg there will be serious questions asked.
Im not so sure ... Ive always thought McGuigan has been really disrespectful to both Monroe and Quigg for quite some time. I dont mind McGuigan backing Frampton to beat both of these fighters ( he has to i suppose ) .. but to totally dismiss both fighters chances of beating Frampton is out of order considering who all three have fought. I would be a touch annoyed myself if someone gave me no chance against someone ranked below me and not fought the same calibre of opponent i have. McGuigan should have a little more respect for both Quigg and especially Monroe.
i think barry held back abit ehich was the right thing to do then adam smith goes and totally ignores what he said and gets him talking about frampton again. what rendall was saying was right and the only reason he is fighting quigg is because the hattons are pushing quigg. you can see were barr and frampton are coming from quigg is the britsih champion so of course they are going to want to fight you and he when you are champion you have to figh number 1/2 who are behind you in the rankings but quig is a SHARP guys im sure he knows that. quigg is the more proven of the two and when he beats rendal he has no need to fight frampton he will be above that level.

Yeah Munroe had a problem with McGuigan from get go, Quigg got edgy when Barry touched him in a non homosexual manor. Munroe was kinda right, why fight Frampton when i wanna win a world title but at same time get your facts about how title came to Frampton right Rendall. I've lost a bit of time for him since he left Maloney, hasn't paid off for him bet Frank's quietly happy about that.
I thought the three of them there was great. People have always complained about Ringside being a bit sanitised, yesterday was a step up. That said I knocked off when they mentioned MMA.
