    This sucks. They don't make 'em tougher than Israel Vazquez and he earned his place in boxing history through blood, sweat, and tears. Rest easy, champion.

    Awful news, he was a legend, that trilogy was fabulous.

    Met him in Vegas for Oscar v Pac-Man, he was very friendly and down to earth. RIP.

    I covered his last fight. I was sorry to see he was battling cancer and deeply saddened to see of his passing.
