Just saw it literally 2 minutes ago while Watching the Bears vs Eagles game. Agreed. Good man, great fighter and one who will be sorely missed.

He was the first fighter I was interested in. Following his fights with Ali was what got me originally interested in boxing. A true warrior RIP.

Saw it a couple of minutes ago on the news. At least we got a chance to brace ourselves for it. R.I.P. Smokin' Joe.

I feel terrible ! Saw Joe Frazier in the Olympics finals, saw him train, saw him at the FOTC
and I just loved his innate goodness and courage. So darn sad. Rest in peace Joe...

Fantastic fighter with a wonderful fan friendly style. A true warrior. He'll always be remembered as being the first man to defeat Ali, in one of the greatest fights of all time. Their third bout was also very entertaining and brutal.

Frazier also held significant victories over Oscar Bonavena (twice), Eddie Machen, Doug Jones, George Chuvalo, Buster Mathis, Jerry Quarry (twice), Jimmy Ellis (twice), Bob Foster, and Joe Bugner.

Great man and a great fighter. R.I.P., Joe.

He's an example of what a real fighter should strive to be.

The legacies of many legends wouldn't be what they're now without him

First man to defeat Ali, first man to stop Chuvalo, and one of the most exciting fighters to watch that ever lived

to think most of his accomplishments he did while being practically half blind. what a great heart and talent

Expected this with the recent news and what not but still deeply saddened. The boxing world lost a true blood and guts warrior today, RIP champ. Now off to watch FOTC and remind myself why Joe would clean house today.

Just heard the news. Terribly saddened. As I've posted before, Joe Frazier was one of my all-time favorites. May God welcome him into His kingdom and comfort Joe's family.

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2Tim 4:7

    God bless Joe Frazier.
