Very sad to hear about his passing. he was a tough as nails fighter, but I really enjoyed his commentary. He was one of the genuinely good and honest guys in boxing. The last I heard, he been struggling with Lou Gehrig's disease. He was 62. Rest in peace, Champ.

:-( R.I.P very sad. He was much better then his record looks. Fought Bruno, Page and Holmes when they were all undefeated, very brave despite being stopped in all three.

I actually "sparred' with him a couple of times back when I lived in Minnesota. He was training Tony Bonsante at the time and he'd get in the ring with any of us that wanted to and spar a few rounds. He had a good 90 lbs on me and I was pretty green, but it was tons of fun. He bloodied my nose pretty good and at one point I manged to land a really solid three punch combination which bothered him so much that just as the third one was landing he smiled and said "Good!" and then cuffed me with a hook. A very, very nice guy who seemed to be so comfortable in his skin that he had almost no ego. When he talked smack to or about someone it was because he didn't like it when people thought they were fooling him or anyone else and he'd tell them so. His work to try to get a real boxing commission in Minnesota was a great example of that.

    RIP

RIP mr ledoux. I'm sorry to see such an evil disease that not only
took you, but will likely take my own mother too. She'll be 62 in january
but i hope she doesn't go at the same time as scott did. I hope they find
a cure someday for this sneaky disease, as there also seems to be no
    cause.

Sorry to hear your mothers struggling with the same disease. Medical science is coming a long way in recent years, I also hope they can find a cure for this
