    I never saw him in the ring but this is truly sad. Rest in Peace, i hope he is at a better place now.

    Saw many of his fights in the 80s when he was on the way up.

    Very good Australian / Commonwealth level fighter who managed to make it to the big show in America and do himself & his country proud when matched with the best.

    There are some parallels between Troy's fight with Terry Norris & the one Jeff Horn has coming up with Terence Crawford.

    Actually, watching him and his brothers, Kostya Tszyu, Jeff Harding, Fenech, etc on screens at pubs in Australia was what got me first interesting in boxing. It's a really pity to read about this.
