Jones via rather wide UD or possibly late TKO. And not a knock on DM, as I'm a Jones fan who actually thought DM was an excellent fighter. But both at their primes, Roy is too good for him.
At one point I'd say Jones would have won this easily. But looking back I'm not so sure anymore. Sure I'd still favor Roy, but I think its a better fight than most think. DM is underrated.
The saddest part is that they were both champions in the same division at the same time for several years. This fight should have happened. We shouldn't need to be speculating about the outcome.
Agreed. And while Roy took up most of the spotlight, people forget that DM was actually the lineal champion or should have been viewed as such.
