Roach with Bute!

Not every great coach is a great fit with every boxer.

 

Roach can deliver EPO and Human Growth Hormone, as anyone who has spent time around the Wild Card gym will attest.

 

Freddie can teach him how to punch. And help him with his footwork. Than maybe he can beat Froch...

Roach's Scubby Snacks and Bute's weak ass chin are a perfect fit.

His footwork and ability to deliver a punch were not his problems vs Froch.

It was his nerves. Looking at him standing on that platform as they announced his name and hearing boo's rather than BUTE's, and seeing the fake smile was the nail in his coffin vs Froch.

Froch then took that fear/insecurity and went right after him, seeing that Bute was in no condition to defend in a firefight.

Hell, Bute spent more time pushing his no foul protector down than he did punching or defending.

Roach can NOT get Bute ready for Froch. Had Bute dominated Grachev for 12 rds, and took Pascal down to the wire, countering and working his offense the entire fight......maybe he'd have a better body to work with.

Freddie's got to rid Bute of the demons that overtook him during the ringwalk in Nottingham.

Surely he will use Pacqioua's KO6 loss to Marquez as motivation as to how to overcome fear of being tagged.......but he doesnt have the time or the resources to change Bute's style completely.

He's gotta change Bute into an offensive machine who goes for the kill the moment the bell rings. If he can make Bute a fearsome fighter, not worrying about being caught and KOd......Bute can have moderate success, but he wouldnt beat Kovalev, so really, he's just gonna get Bute some paydays.:think

Won't help him, too weak mentally. Bute is a finished fighter he can't pull the trigger anymore and reacts badly when hit and shuts down. He's mentally done as a fighter and should find a new line of work.

he doesn't need a new line of work because he earned quite a few fancy pay checks so he can retire anytime he wants

seeing how he still wants to fight says one thing, he needs redemption

 

He should have went with Roger or Mayweather Sr, a much better fit for Bute.

 

Except one is a good trainer and was a good fighter and the other is just his shitty coattail-riding brother whose only real service to boxing was as sperm donor.
