Pintor Zarate WAS and IS considered one of the worst decisions ever in boxing history. I watched the bout live as it occurred and read the reports after and everyone felt it was a very bad decision. So complete revisionism to believe otherwise.

Ali Norton 3 WAS a highly controversial decision. Most at ringside gave it to Norton. Panel of experts watched the bout a week after live on CBS And their scorecards were tabulated in the end. Result a draw. Close fight where most felt the challenger won. I saw this fight live and in person and scored it for Ali by one point. Referee Mercante stated afterwards that he never was involved in a fight where there were so many close rounds. Because of THIS decision they began experimenting with revealing the official scoring after each round of major fights most notably Ali Shavers.

I always thought Leonard vs. Hearns 2 was a close fight. I thought Hearns won by 2 personally, but am not up in arms over the draw. It was a close fight. I think it felt more egregious because Hearns definitely was the sentimental favorite and fought a better fight than many of us expected that night.

    Pretty much every fight.

I've found I can almost always find enough rounds to support a judges decision. Takes nothing away from the performance though.

Leanard vs Hagler, I don't know why Hagler didn't come out aggressively like he did with Hearns. But it ultimately allowed Leanard to gain confidence, and win the fight.
