Close but clear Ward victory. He just did more in the close rounds. Hardly any rounds were clear either way, don't know how HBO and the other ass kissers were so swayed oine way. 114-113 is fair scoring IMO

Haven't seen the fight live yet, so can't really debate it with you at the moment. But you Do realize that a knockdown doesn't win a fight, unless it ends the fight, right?
by 'more' i mean landing effective punches. which he clearly did. Kovalev barely landed anything, ward landed the odd jab and body shot far more frequently. It seems 'more' to some people is just 'going forward'
A controversial decision yes, a robbery no. Like Max said Ward was given the doubt and was awarded every round he could. Considering how close some rounds early was aside from the first 2 I can totally see Ward eaking out a decision. Really great fight and both Ward and Kovalev showed championship heart, determination and skill throughout the fight. It was terrific watching the ebb and flow.
No robbery here. Should have been a draw but difficult to score. Didn't think Kov did enough in the second half
