What do people think of him? I'm watching him fight Eduard Gutknecht and he is more exciting than I imagined. Well rounded but easy to hit. I know Stieglitz and Bute love fighting at home but that would be a fight that would be interesting.

Got his ass kicked by Librado Andrade:good

He actually surprised me a little in that fight as well, but as you said...easy to hit.

Stieglitz ducked Bute twice. Or three times, I can't remember. Actual offers, one of which was the biggest ever made to anybody by Interbox, were on the table for Stieg.

    It'll never happen.

A lot of haters accuse Bute to be a paper champ when they have not a single proof. Stieglitz, however, proved to be a protected fighter on many occasions.

A fight against Bute would have opened him the door for big fights against the super 6 fighters. He refused the offer. At the other end, when Showtime made a good offer to Bute, he accepted it. And he thought at the time that Kessler was his first fight.

About Stieglitz, he seems to improve quite a bit, but unless his defence improves a lot, his promoter will keep him in Germany.

Stieglitz's offense is technically sound, but his defense is very porous, and he does not have enough power to keep the top guys off of him.

Stieglitz fights are often very action packed. He gives always 100%.

Problem for him is only average in terms of technics, chin, speed and power.
I like to see him fight.
Before the fight vs Balzay for the WBO belt his promoter was nearly broke.
Now Stieglitz has a TV contract and makes as much € as ever.

I'm a Stieglitz fan but vs Bute he is nearly chanceless.
Bute should try to make a fight with Allan Green, Direll or Kessler

The way Green fought against Ward and Johnson makes him uninteresting and not marketable. Bute already tried to fight Dirrell and Kessler (his deal with Showtime was supposed to begin with a fight against Kessler) but March was too soon for both men.

It's a shame Stieglitz is ahead of Andrade in the Ring rankings.

Steiglitz has limitations and I dont think he will be able to remain champ when he is stepped up against the top fighters of the division, but he does have a good resume with undefeaeted Balzsay, undefeated Gutknecht, Berrio and did beat undefeated Wilaschek who although hadnt beaten anyone of note, had built up a 22-0 record but would add again never beat anyone of note.
