James Johnson won the 2004 United States National Middleweight title. Joe Greene won the 2004 US National Golden Gloves middleweight title. Anyone know what title he could mean?
I don't know, but it could be almost anything. Amateur titles are almost as plentiful as pro sanctioning body titles these days. Whatever it was, it didn't make much news here in Detroit, and had it been something major, I'm sure it would have gotten decent attention since he's Tommy's son.
Yes, I would agree with that. You could always tell that Tommy was special, and why I give Ronald credit for climbing in the ring and doing his best, I haven't noticed anyting really "special" about him.
