    he's had 4 rounds in nearly 7 months come his next fight on the jennings Vs o'donnell card. surely he needs to fighting at least twice as much as this or do u think sparring frankie and matty hall is enough:think

    Heffron is a very fit and industrious fighter...:yep He will be getting brought along nicely at Arnie's Gym... He will be getting good sparring, the contests will come in good time...:good

    IMHO "prospects" these days don't get enough fights in during the first 2 years of their careers.

    It seems like a good gym to help his transition from amateur to pro. From what I saw of him when he won the ABAs was that he went to the body and sat down on his shots compared to the the other 'classical' amateur boxers.

    I'm really interested to see the return to 3min rounds has on our pro scene in the coming years.

    I think that he will do okay...:yep Is he in at 140...:think

    There was comparisons to Hatton with his workrate and style...:yep

    I have to agree with GazOC too about prospects not getting enough contests, it's a tricky one, some of the opponents must frustrate the hell out of fighters...:yep You just have to look at some of the Tomato Cans that some of our better prospects have been fed over the years...:yep

    Some of the opponents that Tony Jeffries has faced have been atrocious...:deal
