I've just seen on twitter that Ross is vacating the commonwealth title to go hunting for a world title, have to praise his ambition & heart. However , realistically I'd say that this is a little too much for him. As nice a kid as he is, I'd say this is asking a little too much tbh. The belts out there would be WBA - McDonnell - won't happen due to Hobson's past with Gav. WBC - yamanaka - v unlikely , won't leave Japan, long time champion WBO - kameda - Ross has a ranking with WBO , possible option IBF - Cabalerro - Hobson has proven history with IBF (McDonnell & hall) so chances are that's a possibility. Basically looking at all those options I see no viable route of him picking up a title, sad but true.
I'm not sure it's do able - didn't Dennis Hobson & Jamie end on bad terms ? With one trying to sue the other? But yeah if it was to be made I don't fancy Ross 's chances
