Iv never really shown any Interest. I expected him to lose a few fights then get cut but hes still around and Im slowly starting to notice.

How far can he realistically go. He has lost only to Decicions in the UFC and has some Powerful hands.

    Opinions :think

    Fat useless ****.

I have no respect for a professional athlete who cant even finish a 400m run.

Comes across alright to me. A bit of a gimmick though, a heavy bag with a right hand. Really good grappling credentials but can't remember the last time I saw them.

He is one of the toughest guys in the sport, that's for certain. Big one punch knock out power, backed up by a pretty solid ground game. He will never be champion, but he is a good gatekeeper. Plus, I think his look is hilarious.

I'm a fan, the man delivers.

I know Roy Nelson may be a little higher on the Totem Pole, but let the two soft bodies come together in Nelson v Barry.

  8. Nelson fan as well. Granite chin, Iron hands extremely tough. I thought it was hilarious when he wanted that Burger King sponsorship.

Wouldn't compare him anything to a Butterbean, Nelson seems like a good guy for a start

Nelson has proved he is a legitimate fighter, even if his physique says otherwise. I think he is a respectable heavyweight, but has done about all he can do as a heavyweight. He can win more fights, sure; but he will never be a champion.

I wish he would drop to 205.

Roy could always wind up in a Rocky style title match and upset the odds. Anything is possible. He will stay around as a gatekeeper for as long as he keeps winning.

Roy is great... he looks so silly it's hard not to like him.

Big power in that right hand! Good grappling when he is on top... as long as he avoids Hunt he will get a shot!

Look what he did to Struve and people are talking about him getting a shot fairly soon.

He's just a gatekeeper in the UFC and has NOTHING for any elite heavyweight as shown by his fights with JDS, Mir and Werdum.

A match between Roy and Hunt would be good.
