During a PBC talk show, the one with Kate Abdo, Ruiz said he’d like a tuneup before a fight with Ortiz. Seconds later, he said he’s ready for Fury right now. This tells me Ruiz only cares about big money fights, even if they come against a more difficult style matchup.

    Thoughts?

The AJ money went straight to his head and his gut. He's going to want at least 2 more big paydays.

I think what he is saying is.. if a huge opportunity is presented to me I'll take it, he is making sure if Wilder got injured or ill then he would take the fight in a heartbeat.

Exactly in the same way it did with AJ, he was a late substitute.

I wouldn't read to much in to it.

I think he is being asked by his PBC paymasters to distance himself from the Ortiz fight following Wilder's loss to Fury.
Wilder's resume needs Ortiz to remain a credible name.

When it comes to negotiating the split for a potential match-up with Joshua, it's not going to look good if Wilder's one name is beaten handily by Ruiz Jr.

Ruiz has gone 100% commercial before he even started.

I lost all interest in Ruiz after that last display. Yesterday's hero.

He was only ever going to be a five minute champion, regardless of whether he ballooned up or not.

Really interested to see what happens to Ruiz after disappointing so many fans in the rematch. Has the money made Ruiz lose his hunger or will he redeem himself? Can’t wait to find out

Ruiz enjoyed life so much after beating AJ. but I don't think that he's done.

NEVER!! his belly has no bottom!!!

Ruiz motivation will be once the bank account starts drying up due to the massive Takeout Food Deliveries racked up eating away at the Joshua money, what was leftover after the purchase of the Mansion, fancy cars, furniture, 500 foot plasma TV, built-in Toilet into Sofa in front of TV, etc... The remaining $$$ vanishes fast into that Bottomless Gut and tips to the Food Delivery Boys!!
