What exactly is the runner style. Is it just an out fighter? Or is the runner style more that.

What techniques make for a good runner?

    What fighters are good runners?

Runner style? First I've heard of this other than people generalizing non brawlers as runners (as in afraid of brawling it out).

Someone who boxes off the back-foot, from the outside. 'Runner' is generally a derogatory term applied by people who think boxing should consist of planting your feet taking one to give one, hence the opposite being referred to as 'running away'.

The style involves good lateral movement use of angles & footwork.

A classic example of this is Mayweather - Corrales
