It would be a great idea... learn what we don't know and add what we do know.

if you want to improve your stamina through sprints heres afew

try sprinting for about 20 secs and a 10 secs rest that seems to me to replicate my actions in a ring over 2 mins

it realy gets your stamina up

also sprint round a football pitch (soccer for you yanks) then take a mins break that seems like a round for me in terms of energy sapping

but listen to RDJ he speaks sense

the best thing to do is heaps of rounds on bags pads and sparring

Try running 400m 1 minute rest X how ever many rounds you want to train for.... you should sprint the full 400m.

Alternate with 800m .... 1 minute rest x rounds.... running speed approx 75% plus first lap and all out second lap.

Pads and sparring develop extra fitness, but on the pads you can pick up bad habits and give off rest signals when your ****ed.. Same on the bag, you need someone watching to make sure your delivery and form are correct. For me sparring is the main fitness thing especially if your sparring with someone you can trust and go to work with.

    My favourites:

    On track:
    400m sprint
    Run 100
    300m sprint
    Run 200
    200m sprint
    Run 300
    100m sprint
    Run 400

Then do this again in the opposite direction. I do sets of 3-4 of this, and go full out on the sprints.

    Another one I like is:
Sprint as far as you can for two minutes, jog for one minute. I do this five times if I'm boxing four rounds, and four times if I'm boxing three rounds.

When they start doing 3x3 minute matches, I'll do 4x3 minutes.

I used to run suicides on the outdoor basketball court early in the morning and run/sprint the hills. That along with gym-work is more than enough conditioning. Just pick a time (IE: 20 minutes) or an amount of suicides, and increase each time you go out there.
