I must admit, I am kind a of happy at the same time. He used to look so smashed up after every fight, plus theirs the head injury he suffered I found very concerning. I wish him a happy retirement. Hopefully he made enough cash to secure his future.

Absolutely gutted for him, I really thought he was going to have a great career, actually he had a great career, sadly cut short. He retires undefeated in my eyes, that wasn't a loss for him and it certainly wasn't a win for Doniare.
I'm gutted for him as being a fighter was his only wish. A very possessed and talented fighter. Burnett has achieved what most of us could only dream. I have said in the past he was a fighter I was always concerned about, regarding his head troubles as a youngster. I'm glad Ryan has retired with his health in tact. I wish him all the best in his future and hope he finds peace after boxing.
I've got disc problems and can't do any running/high intensity stuff anymore as it really triggers pain so I fully understand what Burnett is going through, it's no fun and I knew as soon as he did it his career was over. Hope he can find a career training fighters, where he's not having to put his body through the ringer.
