I heard his fatass wife divorced him. Most be pretty humiliating to get dumped by such fugly blob. :rofl I bet she left with half of everything he owned. Poor Sakio. :|
We'll know after Froch-Taylor what happens next in the SMW division. Interbox may have put Sakio Bika on the hold for June the 20th in Quebec city but if there is an opportunity to unify against Froch or Taylor, they may choose that way. Andrade may need time to heal his elbow and said he wanted another fight before his rematch against Bute. interbox would have to convince the IBF to delay the mandatory and unify.
part of the "who needs him" school if anyone is! very underrated/dangerous fighter indeed. a SMW version of juan urango is not to far fetched, like to see him fight miranda/lacy/bute or maybe even pascal
He was in big trouble against Codrington. Had the first round gone on 15 seconds longer, he very well might have been knocked out.
I like Bika and find it very sad that he doesn't get the fights. Maybe he should call out Lacy who needs to prove if he has anything left, and I think Bika can look good in that fight. Maybe fight Green or Miranda, or take on a newcomer like Ward or Dirrell. It's a shame that under The Contender contract he can't do anything on his own, but that bunch is unwilling to put up a fight for him. What a shame.
If he really was offered the Pascal fight he should have taken it, pretty good oportunity to get a number 1 ranking somewhere and position him for a big fight. He is not getting a big fight straight up, he needs to build some more attention around him.
Kind of feel bad for Sakio. He's got the warrior spirit, is durable, tough, fiesty with the ability to separate the contenders from the pretenders. Problem is the risk/reward factor may be TOO high at this point. Instead of staying active and forcing things to happen he seems satisfied to wait. Whether that's smart or not, we'll see.
