    I didn't know Sholmo was still alive; thought the belated media blitz about him years ago was because he died back then! That guy could suck up pain and heartache like a sponge. :verysad He was exponentially a greater man than I could ever dream of being.

    It's an amazing story but to talk of him as a boxer or a hero seems just preposterous to me.

    He was fighting normal people who were killed after the loss. It's not like he was fighting the Nazis.
