There was a thread we did about Sam a year or so ago but I can't find it so I'll start another. Sam got to showcase himself on BT Sat night. That was his first bit of real exposure to the casual audience and maybe to some ( hardcores of course)on here as well. I went to his fight v Hughes in Leicester when he won the British and I've also seen him a couple of times in Barnsley when he was starting out. I had friends that knew him from the arms and they said he will be worth watching. That's why I tries getting to a show if he was on. What's people's thoughts on Sam now he's won the British plus the belt he picked up on Sat night. He has a mand coming up in Ronnie Clarke and altho we all know Ronnie and respect him as a fighter I think Sam will be too much for him and will stop Ronnie. I think Sam's biggest test atm would be Archie Sharp, a fight that would be easy to make now. How do you guys rate Sam. Is he euro lvl as we speak. Is he a potential to win at world lvl Would Sharp be a hard task for him. Sharp has good boxing skills and it was always the good boxer types that beat Sam in the ams If you weren't good enough in the ams, Sam would stop em. He had a good stoppage rate. Thoughts people?
Bowen looks big and strong at the weight. Wud b interesting to see how he wud do with sharps movement or a fighter like sharp. As for the Clark fight neither will take a step back. Cud b a cracker.
He is massive at the weight. Altho funnily enough the lad he fought on Sat made Sam look like a normal sfw in size. The kid must of been big at the weight himself. Bowen is known for his strength, power and fitness. He looks a beast up close.
They way sharp moved against Woodstock he wud b a nightmare for Bowen. He came forward throwing big bombs not much thought in his work other than seek and destroy Sharp also showed a good chin.
I think Sharp will be a nuisance early on, but Bowen would eventually close the gap and clip him with something big imo.
good fight - I think sharp would take the early rounds but bowen would get to him late. 12 rounds is a long time to keep someone like bowen off
