Sam Peter got beaten tonight like a ******* step child. BEATEN. He couldnt land a single ****ing punch. He ate everything that Klitschko threw, every jab, every hook, every right hand. Klitschko purposely took him the distance. He could have ended 3 rounds earlier, he was just enjoying watching Peter break mentally. That was a complete mental and physical Domination by Vitali Klitschko. :smoke :smoke :smoke :smoke

 

I think it had a little to do with both; Vitali being that much better, and Peter a little overhyped; the heavyweight division is/has been weak for quite awhile.

Still, it's an impressive win historically given Vitali's long lay-off/injuries - to be out of the game for that long, immediately jumping into the fray, and dominate the way he did-

I think Peter quit because he was taking a sustained beating, and knew he would have ultimately been Ko'd in the upcoming rounds or lost via wide UD. Open scoring played it's part in Peter's surrender, imo.
