Interesting move. Del Boy is lined up to fight the winner of Helenius-Teper and if he wins that he's back in the mix domestically and in Europe.
not sure if delboys finished, his loss to fury isn't looking to bad in retrospect. I've said on another thread if he fought deontys opponents he'd be 35-0, if he can get the European belt he'll be in a position to call out Joshua which will be a big money fight for him.
Chisora is finished. Can never criticise his effort but father time has caught up and his style will never work now the limited speed he had has disappeared for good.
I'm not sure that is true (about Wilder's opponents) but it does make you think! I was also thinking that his loss to Fury wasn't that bad in hindsight. Fury neutralised him like he did Wlad last night. However, if you look at Chisora's skillset he really doesn't do anything that well. Its difficult to see him moving any higher than European title level. His antics outside the ring, weight issues and the beatings he has taken are not going to help. Hopefully he's finances are good, but I would probably guess its better for him to hang them up.
dunno, he beat malik scott without him taking a blatant dive, don't think that French bloke, stiverne or Molina would beat him, the rest are pretty much part time boxers. Whilst he's lost at the top level, he's a decent HW, could make an argument for him being top 15. I fancy him to beat teper or helenius again. Think there's a payday fight vs Joshua in the wings if he gets that euro belt so he may aim for that before hanging them up for good.
Chisora vs Price to be the end goal? They probably see Dereck as a good opponent to get Price back in the limelight with.
He fights this Saturday against TBA- not sure if it's on TV. Dereck needs to keep busy and stay in shape at this stage. In light of last weekend's events Chisora's loss to Fury doesn't look as bad.
