If 20 of them setup in your local park or car park, leave a heap of rubbish and crime behind them after they go, should we respect them as they are different and it is part of their culture?

If 30 of their kids start steaming through your local market, stealing whatever they can grab off of market traders stalls, should we respect them as they are different and it is part of their culture?

So is that all travellers then that are untrustworthy, thieves, targeting the vulnerable members of society, ripping off good, honest people...or is it a minority of a minority group?


I mean there are people targeting the vulnerable members of society all the time, or even people like me and you, getting ripped off by businesses who for example do botch jobs, go bust and then set up again in another name, there's people getting ripped off by insurance companies being defrauded by the small print, identity theft, card fraud, counterfeiting, the less said about bankers the better who have made the most out of the people who have so little. What about the multi national companies who pay next to nothing in tax.

I'm not even scratching the surface here. If I applied myself I could probably find much better examples. It's so easy to point the finger and judge a book by its cover, whilst the people in suits wearing a fake smile do the real damage. Crime is committed by all sections of society and not just by one section i.e. Travellers.

Just one example of this. Lawslaw you talk about dodgy roofing jobs but you know the telly show cowboy builders I know of one travelling man in the shows history to appear on that, the rest has been gorjas so your issue is a non issue as their is crooks in every walk of life
