Golovkin has a point. Saunders went from beating Lemieux in a shut out to fighting a bloke in his 40's at cruiserweight. Anyone doing that cannot realistically be seen as serious about taking on elite level middleweights.

Warren stated in his recent IFL interview that they’ve put offers forward to both Smith & Eubank Jn. Apparently, Senior has said that if Frank pays back the money he successfully sued the Eubanks (for pulling out of the Langford fight) then they will consider the offer. I didn’t realise Senior was still so involved in Junior’s career? If this is correct I think it’s an absolutely stupid reason for the fight not to be made. What I get from this though and i’m sure some will agree and some won’t...is that Junior wants none of that smoke. It’s a proper world title belt, why would you not jump at that opportunity unless you knew that the opponent was all wrong for you. Unless of course it is genuinely an ego thing.
