I'd like John Lewis and Robert Smith to be forced onto Sky to explain themselves. It won't happen though will it, they'll just walk away and onto the next big show. Honestly, they make FIFA look clean these fookers.
They do what they want and there is zero accountability - years of scorecards that cannot be explained by incompetence but same people allowed to continue judging fights and ruining careers of fighters who work hard and deserve at least a fair crack on the cards.
They are on Twitter, not sure how to link it on here. The Taylor cards had Taylor 3-1 up after 4, 4-3 after 7, losing with the 10-8 round for the 8th. Then the 114-111 card had the rest for Taylor (9-9 in the point deduction round for him) and the other had Catterall win one round between 9-12
Every judge gave Taylor the 3rd, I haven’t even scrolled up any further but that is an utter scandal, these crooks need to be held accountable, they’re messing with another mans life, literally
In future, I wonder would it be better if after each round, the judges score card is placed into a sealed box, that way the judges agree scoring the fight round by round and can't have anything swaying their decision making. Sometimes, naturally, I think you could favour a fighter in the latter rounds if you see he's miles behind and you give him some close rounds, just to kind of "save face" if you know what i mean. But at least if you scored it round by round, you couldn't look back at your card, you wouldn't remember who was ahead or not
Surely there's better judges out there? For such an important, unification fight, you would have thought they'd get better guys in. Ian John-Lewis wasn't a great ref either.
