IJL was the one who robbed Miguel Vasquez against Ohara Davies from recent memory and going back failed to stop Vitali beating the hell out of Shannon Briggs. Not sure if he is incompetent, corrupt or both.

 

Good knowledge lad, the Briggs beatdown was totally unnecessary.

 

Howard Foster’s card is also poor, where Jack had to win the 12th to win the fight.

For context, the Compubox stats had Catterall outlanding Taylor 8-3 in the 11th and 9-3 in the 12th. I know punch stats don’t always tell the story but Catterall outlanded Taylor in 11 of 12 rounds.

It’s times like this where I want boxing to go to a stupid punch stat scoring system. At least it takes the objective / subjective nature out of the sport, but then I think with the other hand debating close fights is one of the joys of this sport - but the judges time and time again prove they can’t be trusted to score fights properly / fairly.

 

Andre Ward is a consistently terrible scorer on ESPN

 

How many times has Ian John Lewis stepped in to stop a bout in a questionable way when he is refereeing? It's all I think about when I hear that guy's name.

 

Its hard to believe these guys are still running the show. Ian john lewis and howard foster etc. Time and again these two guys always come up...time and time again. I m not even sure it is corruption...more just their happy to be there and its a case of not rocking the boat. Enoughs enough now tho. Get them out of here.
