Scott Harrison has got his boxing licence back. Was a brilliant fighter used to love his fights. With him being out of the ring so long I wonder if he can get back to World level again. Also if your a promoter would you take a chance on Scott great fighter but a bit of a loose cannon. I wish him the best of luck when he returns to the ring.
skys boxing section have quoted frank to have said "Scott has served his time and paid his price," ****** told the Sunday Herald. "He is due a second chance just like every man who has been through what he has. "I believe he is in superb condition and possibly even stronger than he was when he lost his title. "So what I would say is that of course I am interested and if Scott and his camp are then they know my number and should feel free to call me."
Be funny if Harrison signs with someone else now! The change in Franks tone would be great "He's an alcoholic, criminal who doesnt deserve another chance".
I think for Scott he will have a lot of offers on the table for him to choose from. Now it will be up to him to choose the right 1. Hatton signed Theopane recently who knows maybe they are getting more dates off Sky or even Maloney it would be a good signing for either of them. Matchroom will be linked as always with the amount of fighters they signed recently. All 3 could well do with Harrison none have a good ticket seller up in the Scotland with Scott back he may well be able to fill up a arena up in there again.
Really looking forward to seeing Harrison back in the ring. Just hope if he does have more success he can handle it better. Watching that documentary that charted his last come back showed you that anything other than boxing couldn't work for him.
I was sure that it wasnt for a couple of weeks yet until the BBBC decide if Scotty can come back & whup some ass.
aye I know the scottish boxing beaks have rubber stamped him after he passed a medical, but Im sure he still has to wait from clearance in engerlund... I could be wrong but thats the last I heard...
Ive just seen scott downing whiskey in champions bar benidorm on the punch machine so dont hold out much hope. seriously though i dont know how much he can offer now he has been out far too long but would be film worthy if he can make half a decent run.
as is well known here hes my boxing hero & I would love to see him back, but its a BIG ask coming back after so long out & expecting to pick up where you left off... But its a bonus having my idol back when I thought I would never see the day... so Im going to enjoy it while it lasts, as nothing gives me a better buzz than all things Scott & Harrison:good
To be honest if it wasn't for the state of the building trade I would have preffered seeing Scott back to joinery. This is not a smart arse post or attack, I had many great nights following Scott. Just hope all ends well! As long as whomever promoting does not move venue to england I will prob be there
