He'll need to get active quickly, and stay active, especially if the plan is a fight with Burns.
IMO, Scott at his best was a level above Ricky, but if he fights Ricky lacking fitness, timing and his competitive edge, he'll lose.
Sparring is also going to be vitally important, been a long time since he was throwing punches at someone throwing them back.

I find it hard to see him ever being successful at top
British level, let alone higher. Not at his age with the problems he's had. I wish him well and hope that he's managed to sort his life out, but I expect to see glass flying next time he's in the ring against a competent opponent, and that's not something that would have happened to a Scott Harrison minus the layoff.

Look, Scotty is no angel, hes done a few daft wee things when hes had one too many, but tell me someone who hasnt done something silly when they have been pissed! Everyone deserves a second chance.
Hes done his crime & done his time, & its high time the man was allowed to do what he does best again to support his family.

Lets all cheer on Scotty to glory. Thats what I preach!

Welcome back Scotty from your fans on Brit ESB:good

6 years since his last fight?

    That's a hell of a waste.

Be interesting to see what happens from here

He was an great talent in his prime, which was short lived due to his out the ring problems, he will not be half the fighter he was but hopefully does himself justice.

I never suggested his 1st fight would be with Burns, hence the get busy and stay busy part if the plan is to fight Burns.
He needs to get a fight fixed as soon as hes ready for it, and fight often, as he will need to build his fitness, sharpness and most importantly confidence.
In any sport, the hardest part after a long spell out, it getting rid of the self doubt.
Scott will be 5/6 years removed from his last fight, and 2/3 weight divisions higher probably.

Even someone as good as Tyson never regained his self belief after a 4 year absence.

Why have you put Kieron Fallon with those 3 vile pricks, Fallon never attacked or killed no one. He was cleared of race fixing, even though guilty but anyone in racing knows very dangerous people forced him to do what he did.

    Fallon is a legend.
